This was based on a conspiracy excogitate of communistic aggression, (which included the Soviet Union and China), which plotted to take for granted power in South Africa through military machine attacks, protests and international criticism which would threaten the country and put South Africa into a distinguish of emergency. This would justify Bothas Total schema during the state of emergency period.
